High Stakes Transitions is an executive life coaching practice operated by Charis & Grit Incorporated ("we", "us", "our"). We help high-achieving professionals navigate bold career and life transitions.

We collect information in the following ways:

• Contact form: your name, email address, and any message you choose to send us.
• Transition Readiness Assessment: your email address together with the responses you provide across the five audit sections (Skills, Network, Resources, Idea, and Energy). This may include financial figures and personal reflections you voluntarily enter.
• Booking a call:when you book through Calendly, Calendly's own privacy policy governs the data collected on that platform.
• Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically when you visit our site. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

• To respond to your enquiries and provide coaching services.
• To allow your assigned coach to review your Transition Readiness Assessment and prepare personalised insights.
• To send you information you have requested about our services.
• To improve our website and services.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Where applicable, we process your personal data on the following bases:

• Contractual necessity — to deliver the coaching services you have engaged us for.
• Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and improve our services, where your rights do not override those interests.
• Consent — where you have voluntarily submitted an assessment or subscribed to receive communications from us.

Assessment data is stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database platform with enterprise-grade security controls. Access is restricted to authorised coaches only. Data is stored on servers located within the European Union or in jurisdictions with adequate data protection standards.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website uses minimal browser storage:

• Essential session storage: the admin area uses localStorage to maintain your login session. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you sign out.
• No tracking or advertising cookies are set by this website. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party tracking tools.

If we introduce analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations — typically for the duration of your coaching engagement and up to three years thereafter. Assessment data may be retained longer for coaching record-keeping purposes unless you request deletion.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

Our website contains links to third-party platforms (Calendly, social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms and encourage you to review their policies independently.
