By accessing this website or engaging our coaching services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Charis & Grit Incorporated ("High Stakes Transitions", "we", "us") regarding your use of this website and any coaching services provided.

High Stakes Transitions provides executive life coaching, career transition coaching, leadership development, and related services ("Services"). The specific scope, duration, and fees for any coaching engagement will be agreed in a separate coaching agreement or proposal between us and the client.

Coaching is a professional relationship focused on the client's personal and professional growth. It is not therapy, counselling, legal advice, or financial advice. We encourage you to seek appropriately qualified professionals for those needs.

The Transition Readiness Assessment available on this website is provided as a coaching intake tool. By completing and submitting the assessment, you:

• Consent to your responses being stored and reviewed by your assigned coach.
• Acknowledge that the readiness scores generated are indicative only and do not constitute professional financial, legal, or career advice.
• Confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and methodologies — is the intellectual property of Charis & Grit Incorporated and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Materials created specifically for you during a coaching engagement remain the property of Charis & Grit Incorporated unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We treat all information shared during coaching sessions and via the assessment tool as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

In return, we ask that any proprietary methodologies, tools, or materials shared with you during your coaching engagement remain confidential and are not shared with or reproduced for third parties.

Fees for coaching services are set out in your coaching agreement or proposal. Payment terms will be specified therein. We reserve the right to suspend services where invoices remain outstanding beyond the agreed payment terms.

Use of this website and the Transition Readiness Assessment is provided free of charge as part of our coaching intake process.

Cancellation and rescheduling policies for coaching sessions will be detailed in your coaching agreement. Generally, we request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged at the full session rate.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, High Stakes Transitions and its coaches shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of opportunity, or decisions made based on coaching insights or assessment results.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.

Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Coaching outcomes depend on many factors, including the client's own commitment and effort, and we do not guarantee specific results.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, without prejudice to your rights under the laws of your own jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
